Greetings, my name is Dr. Eric Donald. I am a native of Michigan. I was born and raised in Saginaw, Michigan. I am also a father. I received a B.A. degree in healthcare management from Bellevue University, Bellevue, Nebraska, in 2010.I also received the M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in human services and psychology from Bellevue University, Bellevue, Nebraska, and Northcentral University, San Diego, California in 2014 and 2021, respectively.  I founded Fathers' - Too in 2020. Previously, I was employed with the City of Detroit Michigan’s Health Department, as a Public Health Project Coordinator in the Maternal Child Health Division’s Fatherhood program. While employed at Starfish Family Services, Inkster, Michigan, I worked in several capacities, including the Behavioral Health Department and Early Childhood Education Division, as an Infant Mental Health Worker, Fatherhood Coordinator, Early Childhood Education Coordinator and Supports Coordinator. I also have previous experience working in crisis stabilization. My core areas of research interest are fatherhood involvement and attachments, fathers of color, men’s health, and early childhood education. I am very passionate about working with families and helping men and fathers via advocacy, education, outreach, and research.
